If you prefer to cater for yourself this is the place for you. You can pick up your groceries locally when you arrive, or for those lazy days when you’d rather not cook, you can eat out in the many local bars, restaurants or coffee shops. It’s a reasonably easy walk down the hill into the High Street but the walk back up the hill can be a challenge. Many of our guests choose to walk into town and use a local taxi to tackle the more difficult journey back up the hill.

The Self Catering Apartment is fully equipped with everything you need. Heating and electricity are included within the price. You will find a complimentary welcome hamper to get you started with Tea and Coffee. We have a range of leaflets, maps ready for when you arrive. We are more than happy to help you plan your days by recommending some stunning places to visit.

Parking

No need to worry about parking at Lochview self catering apartment,as we have a private car park. Along with secure storage for your bikes and sports equipment. When you return from the hills you can also use our purpose built drying room.

Fort William

The town of Fort William is a 10 minute walk down the hill, offering a selection of shops and café’s, plus restaurants and pubs for dinner. The walk up the hill takes a little longer, but there are plenty of taxis to bring you home. If you stay at Lochview Guesthouse then Neptune’s Staircase, Ben Nevis, Steall Falls, Jacobite steam train and the Nevis Range Gondola are all just a short distance away so you will find plenty to do.
