Bed & Breakfast in Fort William town centre
Phill & Carmen would like to welcome you to Guisachan House close to the centre of Fort William, the “Outdoor Capital of the UK”. We are in an elevated position set back from the main road leading through Fort William, with views over Loch Linnhe and the surrounding mountains. The guest house is close to the High Street shops and Tourist Information Centre, the railway station, bus stops, the end of the West Highland Way, the start of the Great Glen Way and East Highland Way.
Guisachan House (pronounced “GOOSH-a-gan” meaning “place of the fir” in Scottish Gaelic) is a family run Visit Scotland three star guesthouse with seventeen guest rooms, situated in an elevated position set back from the main A82 through Fort William within 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.
All but one of our rooms are ensuite, some with views over Loch Linnhe. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms and public areas connected to our super-fast fibre optic broadband.
Our breakfast can be selected from a full Scottish cooked menu or we offer an alternative continental platter with cold meats, cheese and fresh bread. We also offer a choice of cereals, fruits, juice, yogurt, toast, a variety of teas and freshly brewed cafetiere coffee. You will not go hungry! By prior arrangement we are happy to cater for vegetarian and other specific food requirements. Please contact us before arrival.
When not out making the most of all the area has to offer please feel free to relax in our large guest lounge where you will find ample seating, large screen TV. You can even sample one (or more) of our 31 single malts or perhaps a glass of wine or beer from our bar. Alternatively why not try one of our expertly made coffees!
For those who need to refresh their clothing we offer a laundry service. On the rare occasion when it rains in Fort William our free drying facilities for boots and walking gear will ensure a dry and comfortable start each morning. Our large car park has ample parking for guest cars. There is even room in the car park for some vehicles to be left whilst you continue on your walking holiday – but please contact us before arrival to ensure we can reserve space.
