Pam and Ray Howat would like to offer you a traditional highland welcome to Ardlinnhe, our home here in Fort William. We are situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe, with wonderful views of the Ardgour hills.
We offer three en-suite rooms for our guests. All rooms are equipped with Freeview TV and DVD player, hospitality tray, hairdryer, toiletries and a radio alarm clock. We also offer a selection of local inteAn iest DVD’s for you to view at your leisure. Iron and ironing board are available upon request. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
After a good nights rest start the day with a hearty breakfast served in our dining room which has magnificent views of the loch and surrounding hills, choose from our buffet selection and follow with our traditional scottish cooked breakfast.
Packed lunches are also available at a small charge.
As befits its title of the “Outdoor Capital of the UK”, Fort William has many outdoor activities to offer, including sailing, fishing, playing golf, horse riding, cycling, walking and climbing in some of Scotland’s finest mountains. Our local hills include Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain at 4406ft.
Ardlinnhe is also ideally located for winter actives with Nevis Range and Glencoe ski slopes within easy driving distance.
If sport is not your thing, Fort William still has plenty to offer. There are numerous attractions including the West Highland Museum to fill in many a happy hour. Take a trip on Loch Linnhe aboard the ‘Souters Lass’, stopping off to catch a glimpse of seals at the aptly named Seal Island. Perhaps, take a guided tour around the Ben Nevis Distillery and try our fine local Whiskey.
Whether you are eager to participate in outdoor activities, or if you simply want to have a relaxing holiday amongst the most beautiful countryside in the British Isles, the surrounding area has something to offer everybody.
Ardlinnhe is open all year round, and we are only a five minute walk from the centre of Fort William.
